Press pause on daily life and enjoy a serene and enjoyable still life drawing workshop, where you can unwind and explore your creative side.
Spend a leisurely couple of hours immersed in the art of drawing, using either oil pastels or pencils, while capturing the essence of a vibrant and stimulating still life arrangement. Your skilled instructor will guide you through the fundamental aspects of drawing, from understanding composition to mastering colour blending.
The workshop focuses on the joy of the artistic process rather than on the end result, creating a relaxed environment where no-one feels pressurised to aim for perfection. Whether you're an experienced draughtsman or have never picked up an oil pastel before, the instructor will guide and support you as much as you'd like.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Depending on the weather and lighting conditions, we may venture outdoors, or if needed, the still life setup will be arranged in the studio. This workshop is suitable for individuals aged 10 and above, offering a welcoming space for everyone to discover and enjoy the pleasures of still life drawing.

Who Can Go
- Suitable for ages 10+
- Disabled access: There is wheelchair access into the building and there is a downstairs disabled access toilet. There is onsite parking for blue badge holders but only by arrangement.
What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
