The Main Event

Make a break away for the capital and enjoy a 3 or 4 star hotel for one or two nights with a loved one!

Once you’ve explored the hotel and all the amenities it has to offer, get ready to get your climb on as tickets to Up at the O2 are included in this experience day.

The Climb the O2 experience allows participants to ascend the roof of the O2 Arena, which has a unique structure resembling a large white tent. Visitors are equipped with special climbing suits, harnesses, and safety equipment before undertaking the climb.

The ascent involves climbing a specially constructed walkway, which is inclined at an angle of approximately 30 degrees. The walkway consists of a fabric surface that provides grip and allows climbers to navigate the dome's curvature. As you climb higher, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of London's skyline, including landmarks like Canary Wharf, the Thames River, and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

At the summit, climbers can take a moment to appreciate the panoramic views and capture memorable photographs. Trained guides accompany participants throughout the experience, ensuring their safety and providing interesting facts about the O2 and its surroundings.

When

Up at the O2 can be taken day of arrival or the following day.
Up at the O2 is open daily 10am-5pm.

Please allow at least 2 hours for the Up at the O2 experience.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Extra nights available for a supplement.
Customers are allocated one of the hotels subject to availability.
Your booking is non-refundable and non-amendable once your experience has been confirmed.
Minimum age is 10 yrs old and minimum height is 1.2m.
Maximum weight: not more than 21 stone/130kg/286lbs.
Maximum measurements: maximum waist measurement 125cm, maximum upper thigh measurement 75cm.
Under 18's must ensure your booking includes at least one adult climber for every two climbers under 18.
Up at The O2 is not suitable for pregnant customers.
Climbers must not be under the influence of alcohol or legal or illegal substances.
Visitors are permitted to bring only an A4 size bag or smaller into the arena.
Climbs will go ahead in all weather conditions unless the weather is extreme (gales, lightning, heavy snow, ice).
Climb shoes will be provided for all climbers. You may be bale to wear your own shoes if they are suitable but this decision will be made on the day by the team. You must wear socks.
It's recommended you wear loose, comfortable clothing suitable for the weather as you'll be wearing a harness.
Each climbing group can have up to 18 people with a guide.
Cameras, bags and personal items cannot be brought with you on the climb. Lockers are available for storing your belongings. A mobile phone can be taken on the climb providing it is carried in the phone pocket on your climb jacket (if requested) and can only be used on the viewing platform.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

What type of hotel will I be staying in?

Hotels featured in this experience are allocated to you, subject to availability, under a non-amendable and non-refundable basis once booked.

You will be staying in either a 3* or a 4* hotel depending on what you have selected.

Can I stay an extra night or add another person to the stay?

Extra nights are available subject to availability for a supplement. Extra adults/children can be added subject to availability for a supplement.

Is breakfast included with my hotel stay?

Unless specified, breakfast is not included.

How do I book this experience?

You will need to fill out a booking form with the experience provider. This form will ask you for details such as your contact details, the name of the attraction you want to visit and whether you'd like this on the day of arrival or the following day, the number of rooms required, your preferred check in dates, and your WonderDays voucher code.

By submitting this form your WonderDays vouchers will become non-refundable and cannot be changed.

What happens next?

The experience provider will contact you within 72 hours to acknowledge your booking request. They will liaise with you to confirm entry to the attraction and which day you'd like to visit it on, as well as confirm your hotel location.

You will then be emailed a booking confirmation for your attraction and overnight stay. Please read this carefully as it will contain important information regarding your booking. Please keep an eye on your spam/junk folder in case your filter has placed them there.

When will I get my attraction tickets?

Your attraction tickets will be emailed to you within 48 hours of your arrival date, often sooner. These can be printed or shown on a mobile device.
