A Little Bit About Me: I would consider myself to be someone who is all about “the experience”. I like spending time with my family and friends making memories rather than splurging on physical things. I consider myself a very spiritual person and very creative.
Me and my family are animal lovers and I’ve been to an Alpaca event a few years back with my family! Sad thing is we didn’t get to fuss and walk with them we only saw them from afar. This will be really nice to have a more hands on experience to feed and fuss them (they are so cute and hopefully wont spit at you unlike llamas!) Very decently priced too and local, definitely not one to miss out if you are an animal lover like me!
Being completely honest I would not describe myself as the most energetic soul, but from time to time It is nice to do something a bit more thrill seeking. But nothing that will have you clutching your side from having a stitch, or worse… anything that involves running. I have been to zip world myself, and its not like anything I’ve ever done before. I would describe it as flying over beautiful landscapes, up to 100mph, while taking in the sights below. Definitely recommend for those who like a thrill but not at the expense of getting massively out of breath.
To ramp the scare factor up, there can be nothing better than going round a haunted prison, with a group of mates guided by torchlight (if they aren’t too chicken that is!) while listening to tales about the inmates that used to live there (and quite possibly still do hundreds of years later…). Even better as the Dana prison is local and a 20 minute train journey so easy for me to get to! Definitely worth being in my top 5 experiences loving ghosts and history!
This activity is a MUST for anyone who ever fancied the idea of becoming a criminologist, or who is just a little obsessed with watching crime dramas (honestly who isn’t). You will get the chance to analyse a real crime scene, interview witnesses and suspects and analyse blood splatters! This would definitely something my mum and I would enjoy doing together. With the activity being based in Huddersfield it is slightly out of our way, but it would give us the chance to make a weekend out of it, as It runs on a Saturday this would work out just fine to fit in around our work schedules.
This would be a very interesting way to spend a day with a loved one and certainly very memorable! Perfect for beginners like me and seasoned pros alike, you can choose which knife you would like to forge, all with assistance from a professional. Best of all, you can take your keepsake home with you as a nice memento of your day.
