Is there a dress code?

Cheltenham Dress Code

Whilst the Jockey Club has no formal dress code in place, many racegoers do like to dress up. Two thirds of the car parks are on grass, so please bear this in mind and wear suitable footwear for the conditions.

Fancy dress is not permitted in Hospitality, restaurant facilities, or in the Club Enclosure. Fancy dress is permitted in other areas as long as the outfit isn't offensive.

Epsom Derby Dress Code

Lonsdale Enclosure - There is no official dress code in this enclosure. Racegoers are encouraged to come “dressed to feel your best”. From bright and bold to subtle and sophisticated.

Royal Ascot Dress Code

Windsor Enclosure - Whilst there is no official dress code for the Windsor Enclosure, guests are encouraged to dress in smart daywear. A hat, headpiece or fascinator is encouraged along with a jacket and collared shirt. 

Goodwood Dress Code

Lennox Enclosure - While there is no set dress code for this enclosure, all guests are encouraged to dress in a smart and elegant way.

York Dress Code

Grandstand and Paddock - The Grandstand and Paddock has no formal dress code and feel free to dress as you wish and feel comfortable. However, many racegoers choose to get glammed up. Fancy dress is permitted as long as the outfit isn't offensive.

British Champions Day Dress Code

Queen Anne Enclosure - While there is no set dress code for this enclosure, all guests are encouraged to dress for a smart occasion. Millinery is not compulsory, but hats and fascinators are encouraged.
