Get closer to two magnificent Highland cows with an experience designed for animal lovers who want much more than a quick hello.
Meet Dave and Frank during an hour-long, hands-on encounter in the Shropshire countryside. With no fence separating you from the cows during the main interaction, you'll have opportunities to feed, pet and groom them, discover more about their personalities and walk with them as they return to their field.
Sessions are limited to just four people, creating a wonderfully personal experience with these impressive animals. Open-farm access is included too, so there's plenty more to discover afterwards.
For someone who can't walk past a Highland cow without stopping to admire it, this takes things to another level. Instead of experiencing the cows from behind a fence, participants join Dave and Frank in their corral and field for close-up interaction under the supervision of the farm team.
They can feed them, stroke them and help groom their famously shaggy coats before walking alongside them as they head back into their home in the ruins of an old walled garden.
With only four participants allowed in each session, there's plenty of opportunity for interaction, and some fantastic photographs along the way.
You will be with the cows in their corral and field with no barriers. During the first part of the session, the cows will be tied up to limit their movement as a safety measure. However, you will have full physical contact with them.
If you are nervous in the company of large animals, this experience may not be for you.
