Set on a friendly farm that’s home to over 50 animals, this 30-minute encounter is all about getting up close with the farm’s most iconic residents, the Highland Cows. With their shaggy fringes, long horns and gentle natures, it’s easy to see why people fall head over heels for these striking animals.
After being introduced to the cows, you'll get to meet them in their paddock from the safety of a fenced corral. You’ll be eye-to-eye with them and get to feed them by hand, give them a brush and plenty of fuss from over the fence. Whilst safety is paramount, you can give them chin tickles, ear rubs. nose bops, head strokes and even hug them if you feel comfortable to do so. These cows are wonderfully photogenic, so don’t forget to take some Instagram-worthy snaps.
Linked to prize-winning stock from a well-known Yorkshire breeding programme, these Highland Cows are not only beautiful but also fantastic examples of the breed. That means you’re not just meeting any cows, you’re spending time with some seriously impressive ones!
And when you've finished meeting the Highland Cows, you'll have access to the rest of the farm to meet all the other animals.

Footwear/clothing recommendations
It is strongly recommended you wear sturdy boots, wellingtons or larger shoes.
During the winter months the field can be extremely muddy so wellington boots and waterproof clothing are recommended.

Duration: 30 minutes
Please arrive 5 mins in advance of your allotted start time to be booked in. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

Informative guide. The cows were calm and easy to pat/feed. We got to feed some other cows too that came over. Beautiful animals. Maybe some extra information in a leaflet or guide book would have been great in the shop.
Farm was small but lots of animals from geese, llamas, alpacas etc Maybe an experience of walking the llamas and alpacas, that would be cool?
At the front desk, the helper should have promoted the extra things at the farm to do besides feeding the animals such as petting the guinea pigs, ducks and quails or the afternoon tea. As we didn't realise until too late.
We both enjoyed the experience of the Highland cows.

Meeting the highland cows was such a lovely experience. Being able to stroke, brush and feed them was a joy. The experience also came with entry into the little petting farm and even though it's quite small it had a lot to offer! I would highly recommend this experience. If you do go to one of the experiences here, keep an eye out for Jeffrey, an unbelievably affectionate Llama who enjoys cuddles and kisses, he made what was already a brilliant experience just perfect 👌🏻

Our sons bought us the Highlander cow experience for Christmas last year. My husband especially is a ‘Coo’ fan. It was a fab experience getting up close and personal with four gorgeous cows. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. A great gift for anyone. Thank you to our boys and the farm.
