Shepton Mallet Prison's or Shrewsbury Prison's tours include both fun and educational experiences throughout the whole day as you investigate what prison life was like for the former prisoners who served their sentences here. Including the cells, healthcare rooms, governor’s office, executioner’s bedroom, and even the Condemned prisoner’s cell.
This is a perfect experience for those who want to take the day at their own pace and explore the whole prison at their own leisure.
Finish your day with a trip to Shepton Mallet Prison's or Shrewsbury Prison's museum gift shop where you can find something to take home as well as the unique memories of your time behind bars. Or head to the cafe on site, where you’ll find a lovely selection of light bites and drinks.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
