The London Dungeon is not a scare attraction, nor is it a horror maze, it is an interactive theatrical experience - There are some shows which are scary and include moments of darkness and occasional jump scares.
Please note: The London Dungeon is very dark, with loud noises, bangs and sound effects. This attraction also has lots of lighting effects, flashing lights, and one instance of strobe lighting. Ear defenders can be requested on the day.
Tours last approximately 75 minutes excluding any additional queuing times. The time on your ticket is the time you are allowed to enter the building and queue. Queue times differ depending on attendance levels and can vary from 10-30 minutes.
Please note only a limited number of wheelchairs can be accommodated at this attraction. Wheelchair bookings cannot be accommodated under this voucher as a result of this, and must be booked directly with the supplier.

British Sign Language friendly tours are available on the second Saturday of every month.

What can I expect from the London Dungeon?
The London Dungeon is an immersive, walkthrough attraction which whisks you back through the dark history of the capital and puts you face-to-face with the most notorious characters like Guy Fawkes, Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd.
Is the London Dungeon scary?
There are some shows which are scary and include moments of darkness and occasional jump scares. However, other shows do not have this scary element and are more light-hearted.
How will I interact with actors?
The actors will embody the most notorious characters from London's history. They will tell their tales to you and occasionally ask for interactions from the audience. The actors will not touch you during the tour and we would ask you do not touch them.
How long will my visit last?

What if I don't speak English?
The tour of The London Dungeon is an English language tour. Unfortunately at this time, audio guides are not available.
What do I do if I want to leave the attraction?
If at any time you need to leave the attraction, simply speak to the actor in the show you are in and they will arrange for someone to help you to the nearest exit as soon as possible.
Is the London Dungeon suitable for pregnant people?
Pregnant people are welcome at The London Dungeon but please be aware this is a mostly standing or walking experience with little chance to sit down. Also note that for your own health, the Drop Dead Drop ride are not suitable for pregnant people.
Is the London Dungeon suitable for guests who experience claustrophobia & panic attacks?
The London Dungeon is dark, smelly, noisy and will show you the scarier side of London's history. There are areas which have enclosed spaces and will make you feel scared at some points. If you suffer from claustrophobia or panic attacks, please speak to a member of the team about whether this attraction is suitable for you. If you do have a panic attack in the attraction, then please tell a member of the team or an actor and they will organise your exit to a more calming area.
Can wheelchairs be accommodated?
Only a limited number of wheelchairs can be accommodated at this attraction. Wheelchair bookings cannot be accommodated under this voucher as a result of this, and must be booked directly with the supplier.
Can I book a free carers ticket?
Guests with accessible needs are entitled to a free carer ticket. You must purchase at least 1 full-priced ticket to be able to request a carer ticket on your booking form. On the day of your visit, you must present one of the following documents as proof of eligibility:
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Disability Students’ Allowance (DSA), or DID card (UK Disabled ID card).
- A valid Blue Badge
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- Credibility’s Access Card with the carer/companion symbol
- An International Equivalent of the Above
Are there any ride restrictions for the Drop Dead: Drop Ride?
The minimum height restrictions for Drop Dead Drop Ride is 1.4 metres. All riders must have the ability to sit upright on the ride and brace themselves against the ride forces; wheelchair users must be able to transfer unaided into and out of the ride seats. The ride is not suitable for guests with:
- Heart complaints or Pacemakers
- Back or Neck complaints
- Broken limbs
- Pregnant guests
- Photosensitive Epilepsy
- Have a condition that may result in injury or complication from riding
- Not accessible for guests who are unable to walk unaided or guests who cannot use stairs.
- Additionally, guests with larger body proportions may find the ride uncomfortable and may not be suitable to fit within our ride restraints. If the lap bar is not able to come down to a certain level, you will be asked to leave for your own health and safety.
Are the rides always open?
The Drop Dead Drop Ride is always subject to availability.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code but you may want to wear comfy shoes as majority of the tour will be spent standing.
Is there a cloakroom?
There is no cloakroom at The London Dungeon. Please also note that suitcases or large items of hand luggage are not allowed into this attraction. Handbags and backpacks up to a 30litre capacity will be permitted.
