The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

The afternoon tea was gorgeous, so fresh. The skipper Mark was really friendly and made sure to chat to everybody on board. Thoroughly enjoyable.

My daughter bought me this experience for my birthday as a surprise. She knows we don’t like to travel far so getting on the barge in burscough, a half hour drive away, was perfect for us. We had no idea what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised with the great set up. The weather was perfect and the afternoon tea was provided by the pub, which had clearly all been freshly made. The chap in charge of the barge was friendly and chatty and we were soon on our was with a complimentary glass of wine, which was great coz I love a freebie. The sail down the canal was stunning, passing other barges and seeing some lovely gardens from the houses leading down to the canal. All in all a great couple of hours out and would defo do it again and would highly recommend.

The boat was small and access to the seating area was via a steep little stepladder. A little tricky, but useable if descending backwards into the cabin. There was help from the boat owner who was very helpful and entertaining. The afternoon tea was a collection of sandwiches and a cake. Tea & Coffee ran out (due to some party members have multiple cups), but this could have been avoided if there was more than one flask of hot water.
However, the real star was the canal which was peaceful, serene and very relaxing. I was lucky to be sitting near the boat Captain and was invited on deck initially to take some photographs and then to pilot the boat for some 15 minutes or so. An enjoyable afternoon overall.

We took the afternoon tea cruise on a lovely sunny day. It was very enjoyable, the captain gave an interesting and informative trip, afternoon tea was good and well presented.
All of the other passengers were great company.

A very knowledgeable captain of the barge. The food and drink was what was expected for afternoon tea. Everything on time, I got to drive the steer the barge and my dad also loved it. An all round great experience, and highly recommended.
