This charming 45-minute river tour in Shropshire offers stunning views along the River Severn, then when you’re finished you get to enjoy a lovey afternoon tea!
Take a ride on a 60-person, three-deck, modern passenger ship on the River Severn close to Shrewsbury with retractable sides and a roof. On your travels, take in attractions like the Welsh Bridge, Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury Castle, and St. Chad's Church.
Suitable for both adults and kids, there are several opportunities to capture beautiful pictures and listen to the onboard commentary from a qualified local guide emphasising places of interest and local monuments.
Once the tour is complete, you take a short walk to a nearby restaurant for your traditional afternoon tea!
All drinks on board the boat must be purchased yourself.
The afternoon tea does not take place on the boat but in a café/restaurant, just a 10 minute walk away. Maps can be provided while on the boat.
Available to book Tuesday to Saturday.
River Cruise
Runs 11am or 12pm - March, April, May, June, September and October. Not available in July and August.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

The afternoon tea was fabulous
All items were so fresh the fish tacos and the pea and mint arabiatta stunning
Cakes selection was outstanding huge variety
Tea and coffee option delightful
The whole presentation of our tea was superior to others that we have experienced
The staff were so friendly and professional during service
Many thanks for making our weekend special
Combined with the river cruise that was very informative
Drinks were available if required staff were very pleasant , we have no negatives

Enjoyed the boat trip, relaxing. Lovely scenery. Great commentary on the return journey. The afternoon tea was excellent, good variety and plentiful, about a 15 min walk through the town. Lovely venue and excellent service.

Highly recommend this, from the moment of arriving, we realised how well organised they were, we had joind the queue ahead of our time slot and once the boat arrived from the previous trip, the guy advised everyone that those with a reservation booking would be called first and invited to board and a table had already been allocated for you, on the table were laminated directions to the cafe where we would be having afternoon tea. The 45 minute boat trip was very relaxing and we had commentation on items of interest, drinks were also avaible to purchase. The St Vincent cafe was again very well organised, a beautiful selection of sandwiches and cakes with tea/coffee, super friendly staff

Easy to redeem our voucher and arrange a time. Easy to park nearby and not far to walk. Lovely, interesting cruise for 45 minutes, followed by a short walk to the restaurant for Afternoon Tea. Beautiful food, lovely ambience and great service. Too much to eat so the remainder was wrapped up and we brought it home. Beautiful sandwiches, tasty fish taco, scone with clotted cream and a selection of cakes. Wonderful!

Very well organised 45 min trip down the river Severn. Commentry with interesting facts about Shrewsbury, a bonus. Able to purchase drinks on board.
Afternoon tea was a short walk away in Shrewsbury and was super - plenty of food and great service.
