The Main Event

Taking off from the famous Goodwood Aerodrome, this unforgettable 60-minute experience lets them take to the skies in a modern Ikarus C42 microlight aircraft. Suitable for ages 14 and over, it’s a fantastic gift for teenagers and adults alike.

From the moment the aircraft lifts off the runway, they’ll be treated to spectacular panoramic views stretching across rolling countryside, picturesque coastline and some of the South Coast’s most beautiful landscapes. As they cruise through the air, they’ll spot the iconic Goodwood Circuit below, offering a bird’s-eye view of one of Britain’s most famous motorsport venues.

There’s always something exciting to see from above. Keep an eye out for vintage aircraft taking to the skies and classic cars making their way around the circuit. It’s a unique perspective that few people get to experience. Whether it’s a birthday surprise or ticking something off the bucket list, this microlight flight experience is guaranteed to create lasting memories.

Please note this isn't a flying lesson and you won't be able to take the controls and fly the aircraft.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 15 minutes for the full experience.

When

Available seven days a week, 9am to 5pm.

Availability is more limited during weekdays and during winter months.

It is recommended to book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available.

All bookings are subject to availability and suitable flying conditions.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age: 14 years old.
Maximum weight: 95kg
Maximum height: 6ft 3
Spectators are welcome to watch from the airfield.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
