The Main Event

Take to the skies from the legendary Goodwood Aerodrome and experience flying in a way most people only dream about. This isn’t just a scenic flight, it’s your chance to step into the pilot’s seat and see what it’s really like to fly.

After a relaxed pre-flight briefing, you’ll head out to the aircraft and climb aboard the Ikarus C42. With its enclosed cockpit, you’ll enjoy a far more comfortable ride than traditional open microlights, without losing any of that light, responsive feel that makes flying so exciting.

Once airborne, the real highlight begins. Guided by a CAA-qualified instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to take the controls and fly the aircraft yourself. It’s intuitive, surprisingly easy to pick up, and an unforgettable feeling from the very first turn.

As you cruise over West Sussex, you’ll take in incredible views of rolling countryside and coastline, with the iconic Goodwood Circuit right below you. Watching vintage planes and classic cars from above adds an extra layer to an already unique experience.

Choose between a 30-minute taster or a full 60-minute flight, depending on how far you want to take it. Whether you’re buying for a thrill-seeker, an aviation enthusiast, or someone who’s notoriously difficult to buy for, this is the kind of gift that doesn’t get forgotten.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 15 minutes for the full experience.

When

Available seven days a week, 9am to 5pm.

Availability is more limited during weekdays and during winter months.

It is recommended to book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available.

All bookings are subject to availability and suitable flying conditions.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Minimum age: 14 years old.
Maximum weight: 95kg
Maximum height: 6ft 3
Spectators are welcome to watch from the airfield.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
