The Main Event

Get ready for a pottery throw down and start creating some clay masterpieces with a Clay Modelling Pottery Experience!

If you’re looking for a relaxing, creative day, this family-friendly session is the perfect way to get hands-on and let your imagination take the lead. Ideal for beginners and creative minds alike, your group will focus on hand-building techniques rather than wheels, making it accessible and fun.

Suitable for all ages and set in Herefordshire, this 1.5-hour session takes place in a friendly pottery studio environment, where groups of up to 16 people can enjoy learning together and let their creativity run wild as they use a range of clay models over the session.

Your session begins with a professional demonstration, introducing you to a variety of clay modelling and sculpting techniques. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll be given your own lump of clay and guided as you start shaping it into a unique sculpture. Whether you prefer abstract forms, animals, decorative pieces or something completely personal, the emphasis is on creativity, experimentation and enjoying the process.

Throughout the session, an experienced potter is on hand to offer tips, encouragement and gentle guidance, helping you bring your ideas to life while building confidence with the materials.

Once your sculpture is complete, you’ll paint it using coloured under glazes, adding personality and finishing touches to your design. Your piece is then left to dry before being kiln fired, giving it a durable, high-quality ceramic finish. After around a month, your finished creation will be ready to collect or can be posted to you for a small additional charge.

Not only does this pottery workshop make a thoughtful present for art lovers, families and anyone keen to try something new, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind, personalised keepsake.

Aprons can be hired on the day for £5 per person.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

All ages welcome.
Under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
