The Main Event

Discover the art of pottery in this engaging Introduction to Pottery class, a hands-on experience that allows you to craft a bowl or vase on a potter's wheel.

Knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring that you have all the necessary skills to produce a remarkable piece of pottery you can show off in your home.

During your pottery class, you will share a potter's wheel with a partner, giving each of you two chances to shape your clay into a unique creation.

Afterward, you can choose from three different options:

Option 1: Embrace eco-friendliness as we recycle your clay, allowing others to enjoy it in their pottery adventures.

Option 2: Select your favourite piece to take home, where you can leave it to air-dry and paint to your heart's content.

Option 3: For an additional fee per item, your masterpiece can be fired and glazed. If you opt for this choice, your creation will undergo two firing processes. Keep in mind that it will need adequate drying time before entering the kiln.

If you decide to go for the glazing option, expect a follow-up call about a month after your pottery class experience to arrange collection or delivery (a small fee applies) of your finished masterpiece, which you can treasure for years to come.

Important Bits

When

Pre-booking is essential.

Introduction to Pottery Classes run Thursday – Saturday starting at 11.00am and 2pm. Sundays and evenings may be available for larger group bookings.

Please allow 1.5hrs for your visit.

The 'fire and glaze' option takes around a month to be finished and is an additional cost of £20 per pot, collection or delivery (p & p is £5) will then be arranged with you directly.

Apron and towel hire bundle £5 per person.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Age 12 and over.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
