The Vietnamese Street Food Class at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School is a brilliant gift idea for anyone who loves bold and aromatic flavours. It'll take you straight to the lively streets of Hanoi, without leaving London.
Over the course of the class, you’ll learn how to whip up five authentic Vietnamese dishes, guided every step of the way by one of Jamie’s expert chefs.
The class begins with pho, the national dish of Vietnam and comfort food at its finest. You’ll discover how to create a beautifully spiced broth and see how it comes together as a warming chicken pho. Next up, you’ll be bashing up lemongrass, chilli, ginger and palm sugar to create a fiery paste, before turning it into sizzling pork balls that are bursting with flavour.
Knife skills get a refresh too, as you practise julienning crisp vegetables to go into your crunchy Vietnamese salad. Then it’s time to master the art of rolling your own fresh prawn summer rolls, an impressive party trick that will wow your friends and family. To tie it all together, you’ll make the ultimate dipping sauce: salty, sweet, sour and spicy nuoc cham, a true staple of Vietnamese cuisine.
Once the cooking is done, it’s time to gather around the chef’s table and enjoy your colourful feast. From pork balls to summer rolls, salad to pho, you’ll tuck into a spread that you’ve created from scratch.
Everything you need is included, from fresh ingredients to aprons, so you can just turn up ready to cook. You’ll work in pairs at your own station, with easy-to-follow demos that make the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. And to make sure the fun doesn’t stop when the class ends, you’ll also get a digital recipe pack so you can recreate your Vietnamese favourites at home.
This experience can be adapted for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets.

signature style.
