If you love the idea of turning something unwanted into something brilliant, this Upcycling With Pallets One Day Course is for you.
Pallets might not look like much at first glance, but with a bit of know-how (and the right tools), they can be transformed into all sorts of useful and stylish pieces. This experience shows you exactly how to do it, step by step, in a relaxed and supportive workshop setting.
Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s dabbled in DIY before, the course is designed to guide you through the basics in a way that feels approachable and easy to follow. Throughout the day, you’ll learn the key skills needed to take a standard pallet and turn it into something completely new.
Here’s a flavour of what you’ll get stuck into:
Once you’ve learned the essentials, it’s time to put it all into practice. You’ll deconstruct a full-size pallet and use the reclaimed timber to build your own project, something you can take home at the end of the day.
It’s the kind of experience that leaves you with more than just a finished piece. You’ll walk away with new skills, fresh ideas, and the confidence to carry on creating at home.
What's Included?
Unless specified all the materials, tools, and guidance are provided.
All necessary PPE is supplied.
Tea, coffee and water are available throughout the day.
There is a fridge in which you can store your packed lunch
It is recommended you wear old clothes suitable for the activities you’ll be doing and appropriate footwear.
Courses run on selected days throughout the year.
Workshop opens at 9.15am and courses start at 9:30am. The day usually finishes between 4:00pm and 4:30pm.
There'll be short breaks in the morning and afternoon, with lunch happening sometime between 12:30pm and 2:00pm.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
