The Main Event

Experience a high-speed thrill seeking Ultimate London Adventure on a renowned Thames Rockets speed boat. The most popular of the speedboat experiences on the Rockets, you will see the Capital like never before as you whizz your way down the river Thames.

This is no ordinary experience as you will blast your way from the London Eye Pier for 50 minutes of thrill seeking, high adrenaline adventure, taking in the iconic landmarks of the city all whilst strapped into a powerful speedboat in supplied life jackets and waterproofs. Sights such as the Houses of Parliament, Shakespeare's Globe, The Shard and St Pauls Cathedral are just some of the incredible buildings you see from a vantage point like no other sat with your loved ones on the ride of a lifetime!

880 horsepower engines will make you twist and turn down the Thames up to speeds of 35 miles per hour all whilst listening to a medley of classic anthems and songs that will get you really fired up for the buzz and excitement of the experience!

And don't worry if your historical knowledge isn't up to scratch as there is a guide on each boat to regale you with tales of a comedic nature about London and its famous surroundings. This is, of course, as well as a highly trained skipper that will guide you every step of the way.

Sailing Times

This is a very popular experience, so to avoid disappointment it is recommended customers book at least two weeks in advance wherever possible.
During peak months (such as the summer holidays), availability can become more limited so booking 3-4 weeks in advance is recommended.

When

Our departure point is Boarding Gate One, The London Eye Pier.

March to October: Available Monday to Sunday, every hour from 10am to 6pm.

November to February: Available Thursday to Sunday, every hour from 10am until dusk.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Under 14s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Expectant mothers cannot board at any stage of pregnancy.
Not suitable for anyone with historical or current backbone conditions or complaints..
This experience is suitable for wheelchair users however guests must come out of their chairs and be able to sit unaided.
Not advised for people suffering with heart conditions.
Lifejacket extends up to 165cm around chest.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

Thought i'd treat my partner and i to this for when we were in London and it didn't disappoint! It was so much fun whizzing along the Thames and our guide was so good making sure we didn't miss any of the sights. Highly recommend!

Thrilling Experience

Wow that was a thrilling experience. All my family members enjoyed lots including my little one and parents. I didn’t expect my son would enjoy so much. Definitely, this experience is beyond any age limits, where all age groups will enjoy for sure. A piece of cherry on the cake, the representative on the boat. He stole the show and grabbed everyone’s attention.
