This is the best of the best for a day trip as not only do you get to see the iconic Windsor Castle, the infamous Stonehenge and the beautiful Bath but you also get lunch in a 14th Century pub!
Experience over 900 years of royal history at Windsor Castle, situated majestically above the River Thames, just outside of London. Being among the first to enter the castle in the morning, you will witness the grandeur of St. George's Chapel and the lavish state apartments.
Once you’re Royaled out, go to the village of Lacock, a filming location for the Harry Potter movies and enjoy a guided walking tour of this medieval village before dining at the George Inn, a pub dating back to the 14th century.
You’ll venture over to Bath and after a panoramic city tour, you'll have time to explore Bath Abbey and view the River Avon as it tumbles over the weir at Pulteney Bridge. Take the opportunity to shop, explore, or enjoy afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while being serenaded by a string quartet.
The final stop is the famous Stonehenge where you can visit and delve into the mysteries of this extraordinary feat of ancient engineering and design.
The tour departs at Victoria Coach Station, London Gate 19 - 20, at 7.45am (Boarding starts 7.30am)
The tour concludes near Gloucester Road underground station at approximately 21:00pm.
Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and on the 25 - 26 December. On rare occasion the State Apartments are closed and as an alternative we shall visit Queens Mary's Doll's House and St. George's Chapel.
St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays. There will be extra time to explore the castle precincts.
On rare occasions, if the George Inn is not available, we use a suitable alternative. Lunch will be taken late in the afternoon and the order of the visit may change, so lunch may be replaced by supper.
