When

Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is open Thursday to Monday, with a few exceptions when the Castle is in use for official functions.

The Castle will be open on selected Tuesdays throughout the summer holidays:

Windsor Castle Closures
25th to 26th December - Castle closed

Entrance to the State Apartments closes 30 minutes after the last admission time.
The Semi-State Rooms usually open from autumn-spring each year.

The Corner House is open 7 days a week, 11am to 11pm and Sunday's 12pm to 12am.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Windsor Castle: An airport-style security check is required on arrival.
A multimedia guide is available in multiple languages: English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Spanish. The English language guides feature versions tailored for families (children) and D/deaf and hard of hearing visitors.
Photography is permitted in the outside areas of the castle but NOT inside the building or within St George's Chapel.
The castle is at the top of a steep hill. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Accessible toilets are available.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
