This Off Road Young Driver Training Experience is perfect for any teenager aged 14 and above who’s eager to get behind the wheel in a safe and exciting way. This two-hour session gives them the chance to learn the basics of driving a manual car, all in a traffic-free, off-road environment.
They’ll start the experience by being picked up by their instructor and driven to the training site. After signing in, they’ll attend a 15-minute safety and vehicle controls briefing on a converted bus, ensuring they’re fully prepared for the adventure ahead. Then, it’s time to get behind the wheel of a 4x4, like the iconic Land Rover Defender 90.
The session begins with basic clutch control and steering, giving them the skills they need to pull away and navigate. As they progress, they’ll start shifting gears and practicing reverse parking. Once they’ve mastered the basics, the real fun begins! They’ll head out across the 25-acre site, tackling steep slopes and drops, giving them a true off-road driving experience.
To finish things off, they’ll get to try out one of the two-seater trials buggies, putting their new skills to the test in a fun and exhilarating way.
This experience is ideal for teens looking to get a head start on driving, all while having a blast. With a maximum of three people per session, each teen gets plenty of hands-on attention from the instructor, who will tailor challenges to their individual progress. They’ll leave the session with a newfound understanding of clutch control, gear shifting, reversing, and basic steering, skills that will serve them well when they’re ready to hit the road.
Experience:

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
