The Main Event

Treat your animal-loving teen to something truly unforgettable with this Junior Zoo Keeper for the Day experience, a hands-on wildlife adventure designed especially for ages 12 to 15.

This 2.5-hour experience takes place in a rescue sanctuary and wildlife park that’s home to an incredible mix of animals, from the mischievous meerkats and playful raccoons to fascinating reptiles, exotic predators, and gentle grazers. Young animal enthusiasts will go behind the scenes to help the zoo keepers with their daily tasks and learn what it really takes to care for creatures big and small.

And yes, there’s a guaranteed encounter with the meerkats, which is always a highlight!

The experience runs from 11am to 1:30pm and includes entry to the full wildlife park, so after the keeper duties are done (or before), you’re free to explore more at your own pace. The sanctuary is constantly welcoming new arrivals, so no two visits are ever quite the same.

Lunch is included for the junior keeper in the on-site café, and one adult admission is also included, as an accompanying grown-up is required throughout the experience.

1 parent/guardian (18+) admission is included with this voucher. The parent/guardian must be present at all times.

This voucher includes all day entry to the wildlife park, (which you are free to explore before or after your experience) and lunch for the junior keeper(s) in the onsite cafe.

The wildlife park reserves the right to cancel or amend an animal experience if deemed necessary due to animal welfare, health issues or unforeseen circumstances.

When

Available to book throughout the year with seasonal opening hours.

The park is closed Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years Day and the whole of January.

This experience will last approximately 2.5 hours - 11am to 1:30pm.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Age range is 12-15 years old.
A parent/guardian (18+) must be present at all times.
The park may close due to extreme weather conditions.
There are toilet facilities at the park.
The park has disabled access however some areas do not have concrete paths and can become muddy.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
