The best way to explore the whisky, is from the creators themselves! Discover the working distillery of Glenkinchie, the Lowland Home of Johnnie Walker and find out how whisky is made in the heart of Edinburgh.
Discover the landscape and rich heritage of this formidable brand from field to glass and see how the Edinburgh Malt that is distilled at Glenkinchie became the vital components of Johnnie Walker whiskies!
A full sensory experience, this journey culminates in a tutored whisky tasting of 3 drams and a wee cocktail in the tasting room, followed by lunch.

When
This experience can be booked Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. From 10.30 am – 5.30 pm.
Validity
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
Who Can Go
- Please bring your booking confirmation, either on your phone or printed to show to your guide.
- The departure meeting point will be a central location in Edinburgh.
- Confirmation will be received at the time of booking. At the final venue, guests will have the opportunity to dwell in the heart of Princes Street at the retail shop. The tour will depart on time at 10.30 am, and we have a provisional time of 5.30pm to conclude the experience.
- Extra drinks and food at the selected venues are not included.
- Transfer back to the Hotel from Princes Street is not included.
- Please note that the walking section of the experience lasts for approx. 90 min each (2 Experiences)
- For non-English speakers, language sheets are available in multiple languages to help you follow what is being said on the Journey of Flavour tour. Many of the guides are multi-lingual too. If you'd like to make staff aware of your requirements when booking, they will do what they can to ensure you're able to enjoy your time at Johnnie Walker Princes Street.

What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
