The Main Event

Step into the charming world of South Wales’ fluffiest residents with the Highland Cow Experience and Working Farm Tour, a gift experience guaranteed to delight animal lovers, families, and anyone seeking a memorable countryside adventure. This unique encounter brings you face to fur with some of the most photogenic and gentle creatures on the farm, combining hands on interaction with a glimpse into life on a working farm.

The highlight of this experience is the interactive session with the Highland cows. Known for their long flowing coats, fluttering lashes, and calm demeanour, these majestic animals are as friendly as they are iconic. Guests will have the chance to meet Nettie and Olga, two magnificent adult cows, and their calves, Thistle and Bracken. Hand feed treats, give gentle scratches behind the ears, and capture unforgettable selfies that are guaranteed to impress friends and family. These fuzziest of icons are naturally sociable and love engaging with visitors, making for a magical and photogenic encounter.

For safety and comfort, all interactions are conducted from behind a gate, but this does not prevent getting up close enough to feel the silky coats and connect with their gentle personalities. While the Highland cows take centre stage, the experience also includes meeting and feeding other farm favourites. Pet sheep, friendly alpacas, and curious pygmy goats complete this immersive encounter, providing a delightful mix of animals to meet, feed, and adore.

Beyond the animals, the tour offers a window into the workings of a working farm. Visitors can learn about daily routines, the care required for the animals, and the sustainable farming practices that keep the farm running smoothly. It’s a perfect chance to explore the countryside, ask questions, and gain a deeper appreciation for rural life.

Whether giving it as a gift or enjoying it as a special day out, this experience promises laughter, learning, and plenty of heartwarming moments with the farm’s furry residents.
