Armed with your smartphone, your team will follow riddles and clues that lead you through hidden corners of the city, unlocking secret food stops along the way. Each clue cracked gets you closer to your next bite, and yes, the timer’s on! Though don’t worry, the clock pauses at every Gourmaze-approved restaurant so you can properly savour each delicious dish.

From sweet surprises to savoury sensations, every maze has its own theme, so you can pick one that matches your taste buds (or your gift recipient’s).

It’s an ideal experience gift for anyone who loves great food, a bit of mystery, and the thrill of discovery. And when the final riddle’s solved and the last bite enjoyed, you’ll all meet in a social setting to relive your triumphs, talk tactics, and no doubt argue over who really cracked the toughest clue.

Starts at the Founders Arms pub (Southwark) & ends in London Bridge.
A British treat, full pub lunch, and classic dessert.

The Sweet Escape - "For those with a sweet tooth"
Starts at the Museum Tavern pub (Tottenham Court Rd) & ends in Covent Garden.
3 x desserts.

The Talisman Treats - "For those who love Asian delights"
Starts at the Crown & Sceptre pub (Fitzrovia) & ends in Covent Garden.

The Taco Trade - "For those looking for a taste of Mexico"
Starts at the Astronomer pub (Liverpool Street) & ends closer to Old Street.
3 x tacos, side of tortilla chips, and a Mexican drink (post-maze hunger level: Satisfied/Full)
Suitable for vegetarian and vegan and gluten free.

The Time Traveller's Space Bytes - "For those who love immersive experiences" (over 18s only due to the cocktail venue)
Starts at the Duchess pub (Bond Street) & ends in Piccadilly Circus.
1 x whole pizza, 1 x cocktail, 1 x dessert (post-maze hunger level: Stuffed!)
Suitable for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free.

The Rickshaw Race - "For competitive groups looking to make the leaderboard!"
Starts at the Malay Fellas (Camden) & ends in Camden.
3 course meal of food from around the world! (post-maze hunger level: Satisfied/Full!)

Seating guaranteed at stop 1, all others are weather protected.

How it works:

Instructions will be sent to each team via WhatsApp to launch the game. Work in your team to use the surroundings to solve riddles, leading you to 3 restaurant stops across the city.
The maze is timed, but will be paused for you to enjoy the delicious treats at each food stop. At each restaurant you will unlock a secret dish. Depending on the maze, dishes are made to eat on the street or seating is provided.
The final stop is a social location to continue the evening, with additional food and drinks available to purchase.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

The Time Traveller's Space Bytes maze is for ages 18+ due to visiting a cocktail venue.
Participants must be at least 16 years old to join unaccompanied by an adult.
Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult throughout the maze.
Please note that the maze involves a considerable amount of walking, but all routes are family-friendly. While children of all ages are welcome, the clues are designed for an adult audience. We recommend participants aged 10 and older to better engage in solving the riddles, with guidance from an adult.
All areas of the maze are generally accessible; however, it's important to note that certain mazes may include small steps and navigate through congested areas of London, making them potentially not wheelchair accessible
Comfortable walking shoes and appropriate outerwear is recommended.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
