My Husband went on his gift experience on spitfire simulator. He did not expect to be in a real spitfire. He was very impressed with the whole experience. He absolutely loved it and would highly recommend. He hasn’t stopped talking about & told lots of friends about it.

Spitfire simulator was VR but you sat in a spitfire cockpit with all the controls a a real airplane. I was flying unaided within 5 minutes of instruction. I did loops and rolls and flew through tower bridge
I even experienced a full crash (deliberately) I did plant the nose into the dirt when I landed once too much brake applied.
I would definitely go again hopefully to do some dog fights
If the real spitfire flies like that no wander pilots loved it.
Five star experience
From start to finish this was a truly enjoyable experience, with an experienced instructor on hand all of the time to help if needed but leaving me to fly as I wished. The graphics are top class. A truly unique and very enjoyable experience.
The whole experience was amazing and the host was very knowledgeable on spitfires and made the day very enjoyable
I can thoroughly recommend this experience. Mine was for the 1 hour session and the time literally flew by (pun intended). The tuition was 1st class and vital if you’ve never done anything like this before. Take off (did ok), landing (took wing off!) were ok but the best thing was flying over Kent, ground hugging or high flying, barrel rolls, dives etc - excellent. Bit nervous when I was asked to crash and I did hold my breath when I hit the ground. Luckily it didn’t at all.
All in all, it was a great experience overseen by a very knowledgeable tutor.
The only slight issue was that the location was not easy to find but once there we received a very warm welcome.
What a unbelievable experience, attention to detail was great, the enjoyment was great, very helpful on everything you needed to do, an experience you will not believe until you try it 15 out of 10,loved it
