Set on a peaceful farm near Guildford in the Surrey countryside, this is the kind of place where animals come first and visitors are welcomed like old friends. It’s calm, relaxed, and all about creating meaningful moments with some very charming long-eared companions.
Your 90-minute experience begins with a friendly meet and greet, where you’ll get to know the donkeys and their gentle personalities. There’s time to enjoy the moment, ask questions, and get comfortable around your new four-legged friend.
Next, you’ll move on to a hands-on grooming session. You’ll learn how to properly care for the donkeys, from brushing their coats to understanding their behaviour. It’s surprisingly therapeutic, there’s something about spending time with animals that helps you switch off and just enjoy the present.
Once your donkey is looking its best, it’s time for a walking lesson. You’ll be shown how to confidently and safely lead your donkey, giving you everything you need before heading out on your countryside stroll. Then you'll be off on a gentle walk through beautiful grassland fields, just under a mile long. With fresh air, open space, and your donkey walking happily beside you, it’s a chance to slow things down and enjoy the surroundings at a different pace.
A simple, feel-good day out that leaves you smiling long after you’ve said goodbye to your new donkey friend.
What to wear
Please wear appropriate clothing for a farm that you don't mind getting muddy.
Sensible footwear must be worn - wellies in winter, walking boots/trainers in summer. Open shoes cannot be worn.

Available on Sundays and other selected days in the week.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
