This two-hour Saturday experience is a chance to swap the to-do list for muddy boots, fresh air and a whole lot of woolly charm.
First up, you’ll be introduced to the resident flock of Pedigree Ryeland sheep. They’re a hardy heritage breed with bags of character and a surprising enthusiasm for meeting new people. Expect curious noses, gentle nudges and plenty of photo opportunities as you feed them and enjoy a cuddle or two. It’s a lovely way to connect with nature and discover what makes these sheep so special.
Then comes the real star of the show: the farm’s working sheepdog. You’ll hear all about how he helps keep everything running smoothly before having a go at giving commands yourself. Fancy trying a shepherd’s whistle? Go on then. Whether he listens to your carefully practised instructions or decides to improvise his own routine is all part of the fun. Participants aged 14 and over can get hands-on with the training, while younger visitors can still enjoy watching the action unfold.
Along the way, the friendly farm owner will share snippets of farming life, from tending the land to the teamwork involved in caring for animals year-round. It’s an easy-going couple of hours out in the countryside, perfect for anyone who loves getting outdoors and learning something new.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
