From your starting point at Cardiff Castle, you’ll set off on a guided walk with plenty of opportunities to sample both Welsh favourites and international dishes. From the warming comfort of traditional Welsh cawl (a lamb broth), bread and cheeses, to the sweet treat of freshly baked Welsh cakes, every stop has been handpicked for its quality and character. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy local beers and ciders, giving you a real taste of Wales.
As you walk, your friendly guide will bring the city to life with fascinating stories, pointing out iconic sights such as Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, and the bustling city parks.
The tour continues with a water bus ride down to Cardiff Bay, offering a completely different view of the city. Here, you’ll see the striking Millennium Centre and the Sened Building (Welsh Assembly), rounding off the day with even more insight into Cardiff’s unique mix of history, culture, and modern life.
Running from 10:30am to 4pm, this experience also includes a relaxed restaurant lunch, giving you time to sit back and soak it all in. You’ll even pick up a few Welsh phrases along the way, a fun little extra to take home.

Lunch: Set menu at Welsh House. Choice of Cawl (Welsh lamb stew) fish and chips, burger, sausage and mash or vegetarian/vegan option.
