The Main Event
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, get your hands floury?
If that's a yes, then you need this bread making workshop where you can immerse yourself in the wonderful world of artisanal bread.
Over the course of two hours, you'll be guided by a professional baker in a fully operational bakery. From mixing the ingredients to shaping and baking, every step of the process is hands-on and interactive. No previous baking experience is necessary – just come with a willingness to learn and a passion for delicious bread!
During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to craft two loaves of bread. First up, you'll learn how to make a rustic spelt loaf, a hearty and wholesome bread that's perfect for sandwiches or toast. While your spelt dough is proving, you'll also whip up a delicious spring onion and mature cheddar soda bread – a savoury treat that's sure to impress.
In addition to the hands-on baking experience, participants will also receive two hours of expert instruction, as well as a recap of the bread making process and a fascinating talk on the history of local grains and bread making. And don't worry – you'll also take home the recipes for both breads, so you can recreate them in your own kitchen whenever you like!
Whether you're looking for a fun activity to enjoy with friends and family, or a special treat for yourself and a loved one, this bread making workshop is suitable for all ages (from 10 yrs) and skill levels. Plus, you'll leave with not only two freshly baked loaves of bread but also a bread tin and a small jar of local honey to enjoy at home.

Please note, groups of 6 are not private bookings, you'll be part of a bigger group for this experience.
When
This experience is available on Monday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
It's recommended to book around 6 weeks in advance.
This workshop will take 2 hours although can sometimes overrun a little past 8:30pm.
Validity
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
Who Can Go
- Minimum age is 10 years old.
- Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Please speak with the experience provider when booking if you have additional needs or need mobility assistance. Every effort will be made to accommodate special needs accordingly.
What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
