The Main Event

This exciting flight simulator experience at Luton Airport is perfect for anyone with a passion for aviation or a dream of taking the controls of a commercial jet or helicopter, no pilot’s licence required!

This unique experience includes not one, but two flight simulator sessions, a 60 minute flight in a Boeing 737 simulator and a 30 minute session in a Robinson R22 helicopter simulator. You’ll also get to enjoy a light lunch for two, making it a brilliant day out to share with someone special.

Step inside the state-of-the-art Boeing 737 simulator, used by real pilots for training, and enjoy a fully immersive experience. You'll sit in the Captain’s seat and take the controls, guided by a friendly and experienced instructor who’ll tailor your session to your interests. Choose from over 24,000 airports, any weather conditions, day or night flying, the choice is yours.

Next, it’s time for something a little different, the R22 helicopter simulator. Built using a real helicopter airframe and featuring 4K visuals and a wraparound screen, this simulator delivers a thrillingly realistic flight experience. You’ll get hands-on with hovering, close-to-the-ground manoeuvres, and even try your hand at an emergency landing.

Both sessions include time to relax with refreshments and chat to your instructor about what you’d like to try, or just go with their expert suggestions if you’re not sure.

Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary or just a chance to treat someone who’s always had their head in the clouds, this is the kind of gift they’ll never forget.

Important to Note

Up to 2 spectators are welcome to come and watch. You are responsible for their conduct and must keep children supervised at all times.

Refreshments: Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are served during your session.

Lunch - for 2 people
Please advise of any dietary requirements you have when booking (48 hours notice is required). The lunch trays are sealed to prevent cross contamination.

Lunch consists of a selection of sandwiches, fresh fruit and small cakes. The food is freshly made to order nearby by the company which supplies food for the Executive Jets at Luton Airport.

The food can be served in the Cabin or in the briefing area.

When

Available to book 7 days a week, between 9am and 6pm (subject to availability).

Weekends are popular and book up fast so booking in advance is recommended.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

There is no minimum age however this experience may not be suitable for children under 12 years of age. Booster seats are available but younger and smaller children under 12 may struggle to see out of the windscreen and so may not have the best experience.
Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Disabled access: The venue is on the ground floor with a ramp to access the building. There is wheelchair access that gets you right up next to the simulator however you will need to transfer to the pilots seat which does have restricted access. There is a communal disabled toilet for our building on the ground floor.
Space is restricted in the simulators so you need to be reasonably agile to get in and out of the pilot’s seats.
This simulator experiences may not be suitable for you if you suffer from medical conditions such as balance issues, vertigo, epilepsy, or suffer from nausea or travel sickness. If in doubt, please consult your doctor before purchasing a voucher.
You are welcome to take photos and video during your flight session.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
