It is an opportunity to ignite racing instincts and conquer an incredible line up of machines.

Choose between three to five cars, ranging from legendary Classic F1 icons to cutting edge Hybrid LMP1 prototypes. Each simulator features its own distinctive gear shifting style, from the traditional H Gate to lightning fast paddle shift, and adrenaline pumping sequential gearboxes. Every car demands a different technique, testing skill, adaptability and nerve.

Cars and circuits can be selected prior to the event, allowing drivers to experience iconic tracks from around the world in machinery that suits their style. All five race cars take to the virtual circuit at the same time, creating an immersive and thrilling race atmosphere. Difficulty can be adjusted to match ability, making it equally exciting for confident racers and ambitious newcomers.

Designed for groups of up to five people, this is an unforgettable challenge packed with speed, strategy and side by side action.

What should I wear?

It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing such as jeans, and a t-shirt with collar, along with flat soled, slim fitting shoes. High heels are not permitted.  Wide, heavy soled boots or shoes are not recommended. If you have your own race suit, gloves or boots, please do feel free to wear these.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 mins before your booking time so that you can register at Race Control. There are light refreshments available within the race centre, plus, depending on what events are on at Brands Hatch, you can use their cafe's and a Licensed bar, if open.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Come straight in to the Race Centre and report to Race Control, who will check you in and set you up for your session. 

Will I get briefed on how to use the simulator?

Every driver is given a briefing on the simulators and tips on how to ensure you get the most fun from your event.

Do I need to use racing gloves?

Yes, racing gloves are required. One of the immersive simulations comes from the steering wheel, just the same as an actual race car. Race gloves provide better feel and grip, which helps your driving technique and will lessen hand fatigue to ensure that you can keep racing for longer. Don't worry if you don't have your own pair, SIM Motorsport provides racing gloves for your experience or you could buy a pair from the merchandise shop.

Do I need a race helmet?

Race helmets are not required, although, feel free to wear a race helmet if practicing for a real race car event to gain full authenticity.

Can I bring a camera?

You are very welcome to bring a camera  to your event.

Do you have any age restrictions?

The minimum age for use of the simulators is 11 years old.

Under 16s are not permitted in the venue after 9pm, unless escorted by a responsible adult.

Do you have any weight / height restrictions?

The supplier does their best to accommodate all guests outside of the below height and weight criteria:

Max weight: 18 stone (114KG).

Height Criteria: 4'9" - 6'4" (145cm - 193cm).

What if I have a medical condition?

SIM Motorsport provides professional race car simulators designed to immerse the driver fully with accurate motion and feedback, using FIA Licensed suspension, direct drive steering, hydraulic racing pedals, and a 6-point FIA harness linked into a breaking system. It is the responsibility of the participant to inform SIM Motorsport Ltd of any existing medical conditions so they can advise you on whether it is safe for you to race. It is your responsibility to determine if it is safe for you to participate, considering your medical conditions. 

The list of conditions you must advise on includes (but is not limited to) heart conditions, back conditions and epilepsy. Unfortunately you may not participate whilst pregnant.
