Perfect for animal lovers aged 10 and up, this 30-minute interactive experience gives you the chance to meet some of nature’s most misunderstood creatures, the striped skunk!
Despite their reputation, these adorable rescue skunks are surprisingly sweet, friendly, and full of character. You'll get to spend time with them as part of their daily enrichment and exercise routine, helping them stay happy, healthy and social. It’s a great way to learn more about these fascinating animals and bust a few myths along the way.

From red foxes and meerkats to lynx and reptiles, this sanctuary is home to a constantly growing family of rescued exotic animals. There are beautiful predators, gentle grazers, curious climbers and everything in between.
Whether you’re treating a friend, surprising your partner, or searching for a gift with a difference, this experience is ideal. It's educational, hands-on, and packed with charm, and makes a brilliant day out for anyone who loves animals.

Had a lovely time skunks were actually really cute and friendly. Unfortunately it was a very hot day so didn’t spend as much time as I would have liked to have done. Chloe the keeper was very informative.
Worth noting that The Ark is for rescued animals
We had an amazing experience with the skunks. I've been lucky enough to do a few different experiences at zoos, and even did the fox one here a couple of years ago, but this skunk one is the absolute best one I've ever done!
We got to choose some toys, feed them and even hold one of them! We also helped them walk through paint and onto paper so we could take their little footprints home.
It was so much fun, and way more interactive than I imagined. The skunks themselves were absolutely gorgeous. Really gentle and quite affectionate! Very funny with big personalities too.
Big thanks to the keeper who did it with us (think her name was Chloe), who was very nice and told us lots about the skunks. She also said the skunks don't get many experiences, and they might even have to stop doing them, which is such a shame.
