Guests enter the experience through a charming, storybook-style entrance, immediately transported into the colourful, quirky world of Shrek. Each step reveals a mix of live actors, interactive storytelling, and state of the art special effects, making visitors feel as though they’ve stepped straight into the films. The journey spans multiple themed zones, each bursting with magic, humour, and fairytale fun. Every corner offers new surprises, from meeting familiar characters to navigating the whimsical challenges that bring the story to life.
At the heart of the adventure is the live-action, interactive show, where visitors become part of the story. Guests can help Shrek, Donkey, and friends on their mission to rescue Princess Fiona, making choices along the way that shape the adventure. With clever humour and engaging performances, the show delights audiences of all ages, keeping children captivated and grown ups laughing along with the antics.
Throughout the attraction, guests encounter a host of other fairytale characters, from Puss in Boots and the Gingerbread Man to the Three Little Pigs and beyond.

Tours last approximately 1 hour excluding any additional queuing times - The time on your ticket is the time you are allowed to enter the building and queue. Queue times differ depending on attendance levels and can go from 10-30 minutes.
Please note that this is a highly sensory experience with many different sights, sounds and smells. There are shows and areas of Shrek’s Adventure that contain strobe lighting which may affect those suffering from photosensitive epilepsy. We recommend speaking to a member of the team before you enter and begin your tour so they can fully brief you on locations strobe lighting is used.
Please also be aware that the 4D bus at the start of the adventure is a simulation experience that includes water spray, air blasts, fog and aroma. The bus is not suitable for guests who suffer from Epilepsy, motion sickness, asthma and any other chronic illness.
Please note that this voucher is valid for advanced bookings only which must be at least 72 hours from submitting the booking form.

British Sign Language friendly tours are available on the second Saturday of every month.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How long will my visit last?

There is an interactive area at the end of the tour where you can meet your favourite friends from other DreamWorks worlds like Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon; you may spend as long as you want in this area. What do I do if I want to leave the attraction?
If at any time you need to leave the attraction, simply speak to the actor in the show you are in and they will arrange for someone to help you to the nearest exit as soon as possible.
What can I expect?
Shrek's Adventure! London is an immersive, walkthrough experience where a whole cast of your favourite Shrek characters brings the story to life around you.
What if I don't speak English?
The tours are run only in English. Unfortunately at this time, audio guides are not available.
Is it scary?
There are some moments of mild peril which some younger guests may find scary.
Is Shrek's Adventure suitable for pregnant people?
Pregnant people are welcome at Shrek's Adventure! London but please be aware this is a mostly standing or walking experience with little chance to sit down.
Can I take photos when on the tour?
Photography is not permitted at any time whilst on the main tour. You can take photos in the admission area and at the end of the tour.
Can wheelchairs be accommodated?
Only a limited number of wheelchairs can be accommodated at this attraction. Wheelchair bookings cannot be accommodated under this voucher as a result of this, and must be booked directly with the supplier.
Can I book a free carers ticket?
Guests with accessible needs are entitled to a free carer ticket. You must purchase at least 1 full-priced ticket to be able to request a carer ticket on your booking form. On the day of your visit, you must present one of the following documents as proof of eligibility:
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16
- Personal Independent payments for those aged 16-64
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
- Incapacity Benefit book
- A Blue or Orange badge
- BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- International Proof of Disability
- A local authority registration document (which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted).
- A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card
- Credability’s Access Card
Are there any restrictions for the Magic Bus?
The magic bus includes water sprays, air blasts, fog and aromas. You should not experience this section of the tour if you suffer from any disorder or condition that may be affected by any of the these.
The bus is also not suitable for guests who suffer from the conditions below:
- Epilepsy
- Motion sickness
- Asthma
- Any other chronic illness
- The bus is accessible to wheelchair users who are able to transfer up one step, into the seat and have the ability to sit upright.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code but you may want to wear comfy shoes as majority of the tour will be spent standing.
Can I book a free infants ticket?
Free infant tickets can be requested on your booking form. You must purchase at least 1 full priced ticket to be able to request an infant ticket(s) on your booking form.
Is there a cloakroom?
There is no cloakroom at Shrek's Adventure. Please also note that suitcases or large items of hand luggage are not allowed into this attraction. Handbags and backpacks up to a 30litre capacity will be permitted.
Buggies / prams are not permitted onto the tour at Shrek's Adventure London. There is a buggy park provided on the first floor before your tour begins.
