A living, working museum, this gives you the chance to capture what it’s really like to work for the Royal Family and the process that happens in a ceremonial and armoured reconnaissance role of HM The King’s Mounted Bodyguard.
Discover first hand stories and accounts of the royal workforce rigorous and demanding training, see interactive displays and unique rare objects on display for the first time in the original 18th century stables.
Once you’ve had your fill of royal history, take a stroll along The Mall to a hotel filled with Victorian grandeur and first-class contemporary comfort at The Royal Horseguards Hotel, one of the finest hotels near Westminster.
Here you can partake in either afternoon tea, a sparkling afternoon tea or a two course lunch and reminisce over the amazing day you’ve had!

Please allow around 1 hour for both the museum and the afternoon tea.
When
The Household Cavalry Museum - From 1 April open 7 days a week, 10am-6pm (last entry 5pm)From (November we will be on winter hours and open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm; Last entry is 60 min before closing)
The Museum will be closed all day for Ceremonial Season plus: London Marathon Day, Easter Friday, and Christmas Eve to Boxing Day
Royal Horseguards Hotel – afternoon tea served daily from 13.00 – 16.30
Not available on the following dates: all bank holidays, 19th March, 6th May & 24th -31st December inclusive
All bookings must be made at least 14 days in advance and are subject to availability
Validity
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
