The Main Event

Who doesn't love a meerkat? With their curious faces, playful personalities and famous upright stance, they’re one of the most entertaining animals to watch, and with this experience, you'll get to meet them!

This 30-minute VIP experience gives you the chance to step into the world of these lively little desert explorers. Reserved just for you or your group, the experience is led by one of Exotic Zoo’s knowledgeable zookeepers who will guide you through an interactive encounter with the zoo’s resident meerkats.

You’ll help feed them during the session, giving you a close-up look at their playful personalities as they scurry around and investigate everything going on around them. They’re incredibly curious animals, so don’t be surprised if they come right over to see what you’re up to.

Meerkats are famous for their teamwork, curiosity and constant lookout duty, and during your visit you’ll discover why they’re such fascinating animals. Your keeper will share all sorts of interesting facts about how these clever creatures survive in harsh desert environments, from their clever communication skills to their unique social structure.

The experience is suitable for ages 5 and over, making it a brilliant gift for families who enjoy unique days out. As an added bonus, entry to Exotic Zoo is included for all participants, so once your meerkat encounter is over, you’re free to explore the rest of the zoo.

Entry into the Zoo is included for all participants during our opening hours of 11am-4pm.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age is 5 years old. One participant must be aged 16+
Not suitable for wheelchair users due to steps up to the enclosure and tight spaces to get in.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
