The Main Event
Enjoy a day in the great outdoors in the Lake District, connecting with nature and horses and rediscovering life's simple joys.
Over the course of the day, you'll follow part of an ancient packhorse route, with horses carrying your supplies, across hills and through woodland, stopping to enjoy tree-climbing, bush craft, delicious food cooked on a campfire and even wild swimming.
You'll cement your bond with the horses with a Meditate with Horses session so both you and these beautiful animals are relaxed and ready for your day of adventure together.
This experience will help you feel more in tune with nature and remind you that we all need to disconnect from the modern world every now and then to come back to ourselves.

You'll be part of a small group of 15 for this experience.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
Who Can Go
- Minimum age is 5 years old.
- Under 16's must be accompanied by a paying adult (over 18).
- All food allergies can be catered for.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather as this is an outdoor activity. Warm clothes and waterproofs are recommended for when it's cold. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended for spring/summer.
- Please bring a bottle of water with you.
- Please bring a swimming costume and towel for the wild swimming.
What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
