There’s something wonderfully simple about spending time around friendly farm animals. Rather than viewing them from a distance, this experience offers the opportunity to visit a working smallholding and get closer to the animals that call it home.
The smallholding specialises in Pedigree Ryeland sheep, a heritage breed known at the farm for their friendly, inquisitive nature. The smallholding is also home to chickens, ducks, a sheepdog named Bluey and some woolly rare breed piglets!
Before meeting the animals, there’s time to enjoy a tasty cream tea and watch farm life unfold around you. It makes for a relaxed combination of treats, animals and countryside character.
