Guests can choose to enjoy their afternoon tea in the cosy Camelia Lounge, out on the peaceful garden terraces, or on sunny days, outside with views across the hotel’s beautiful grounds.
The food is everything you’d hope for from a proper afternoon tea. Everything is homemade, from the freshly baked scones to the cakes and delicate finger sandwiches. Tea is served hot and fresh, with a good choice of blends, and coffee or herbal infusions are available if that’s more your thing.
Then comes the upgrade that makes this experience feel extra gift-worthy. Each guest enjoys a glass of champagne to sip alongside the food, plus indulgent chocolate-dipped shortbread that’s just as good as it sounds.
Set in the calm Yorkshire countryside and easy to reach from Whitby and surrounding areas, Grinkle Park Hotel feels like a proper escape. Once there, it’s all about slowing down, enjoying good food, and making time for each other.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
