How high do we jump from?
With this voucher, you'll be jumping from 15,000 ft. The exact altitude on the day however depends on local regulations, aircraft, and weather conditions.
What is freefall in skydiving?
Freefall is the part of the skydive after you leave the aircraft and before the parachute opens. During this time, you'll experience the incredible sensation of flying through the air at speeds of up to around 120 mph (193 km/h). Although it sounds intense, most people describe it as feeling more like floating on a cushion of air than "falling." After around 15–60 seconds (depending on your jump altitude), your instructor will deploy the parachute, and you'll enjoy a peaceful, scenic flight back to the ground.
How long is the freefall?
Freefall from a height of 15,000 ft usually lasts around 60 seconds. Once the parachute opens, you'll enjoy a scenic canopy flight lasting approximately 5–8 minutes before landing.
Can I breathe during freefall?
Yes! This is one of the most common concerns. The air pressure doesn't stop you from breathing, most people are just surprised by the sensation of the wind. Just breathe normally and enjoy the experience.
What if I'm nervous?
Feeling nervous is completely normal, almost everyone is! Your instructor will be with you throughout the experience, explaining each step and helping you feel as comfortable as possible.
