Celebrating Oktoberfest if you do not like beer is very much possible, according to a UK gift experience company.
Oktoberfest is here and the UK has well and truly embraced a somewhat anglicised version of the iconic German festival over the years.
Even if you do not like beer or just don’t drink alcohol, it is a festival for all people of all ages to enjoy.
Gift experience company WonderDays has put together a guide on ways to embrace the fun of Oktoberfest if you do not drink beer.
The festival is really all about the food anyway, according to WonderDays marketing manager and Oktoberfest fan, Bronwen Jones.
“From sausages to schnitzel and sauerkraut to schweinebraten, delicious German food is what really makes an Oktoberfest in our opinion,” she said.
“Playing traditional German games, such as hammerschlagen where you have to hammer nails into wood, is also great fun.
“Dancing, laughing and just having fun are also a huge part of what makes Oktoberfest such a brilliant festival.”
