The anticipation is all part of the fun! Get together and choose your preferred launch site, settle on a date and time that works for you, and get that flight date booked in! Now all we need is some nice weather on the day, after all, who wants to fly in the wind and rain!
On the day you can expect a warm and friendly welcome from your vastly experienced pilot who will give you a briefing on what to expect from your experience as well as some essential do’s and don’ts. Once the formalities are out of the way the adventure can begin! Your pilot will offer out an invitation to assist with the inflation of the balloon. This is a wonderful opportunity to help the crew inflate the 120ft balloon which is over 10 storeys high! Feel part of the crew by getting stuck in and immerse yourself in the experience from the very start!
Once you lift off, you will gently lift higher and higher with only the roar of the burners to break the calmness and tranquillity that comes with leaving the world behind you. You will be left in awe of the vantage points you gain from heights of between 1500 to 3000ft.
Soak up the camaraderie that forms between all the passengers on board, all enjoying this unique experience, many for the first time. Allow your pilot to share their wealth of knowledge on the local area, share ballooning experiences and point out local landmarks – you are in the hands of an expert after all.
You will be airborne for around an hour, and your highly skilled pilot will allow vantage points to be taken from all parts of the basket and take your through different heights and pools of air!

When its time to come back down to earth, and you are safely back on firm ground, its time to get some photo’s and soak up the atmosphere with your fellow passengers, who have all been part of an experience that will leave you all with memories to last a lifetime.

As the sun sets your experience, you now have an opportunity to assist with the deflation of the balloon and finally embrace together to toast your experience with a welcome glass of bubbly or soft drink. Now it’s time to say goodbye and you will leave with stories to tell and memories to treasure. You will want to get home and tell everyone about your airborne adventure.
