Tucked away in the heart of North Wales, these near-invisible forest lodges are designed to blend beautifully into the woodland, giving families the chance to switch off, slow down and spend proper time together.
Sleeping 2 adults and 3 children, this short break is ideal for adventurous families who love the outdoors. Better still, it’s bookable all year round, including weekends and school holidays.
The lodge has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Inside, you’ll find comfy bedding, complimentary WiFi, tea/coffee and milk and a private balcony with seating to soak up the peaceful forest views. There's even the choice of a lodge with a private hot tub or an outdoor bath. The hot tub is perfect for evening bubbles under the trees while you plan the next day’s adventures or alternatively, the outdoor bath is ideal for soaking your worries away with a warm dip or a cold water plunge if you're feeling brave!
The lodges sit just moments from Zip World Betws-y-Coed, one of the UK’s most exciting adventure destinations. That means adrenaline-filled days are practically on your doorstep. Think soaring zip lines, high-speed tobogganing, forest adventures, mountain biking and scenic hiking trails that suit all ages and energy levels. There’s plenty nearby too, with welcoming cafés, family-friendly restaurants and cosy spots for a well-earned hot chocolate after a busy day.
A short break in a forest lodge is a proper escape from everyday life and would make a special gift for any family.
Who can stay?
The Forest Lodges can fit up to 2 adults and 3 children. Due to the layout of the lodges, no more than 2 adults can stay as one bedroom has a double or king-size bed and the other bedroom has smaller bunk beds designed for children.
Parking
Each lodge has a designated parking space located in the upper car park of the Zip World Betws-y-Coed site.
Zip World Activities
This experience does not include any of the activities available at Zip World Betws-y-Coed. However these can be purchased during your stay should we wish to experience their adventure activities.
Can be booked any time of the year, weekdays and weekends.
Check-in days are Monday and Friday.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

What is provided in the Forest Lodge?
Every lodge has enough utensils for your stay including plates, bowls (for adults and children), plastic wine glasses, plastic cups, mugs, cutlery, pots, frying pan, spatular, chopping board, chopping knife and a corkscrew with bottle opener.
There is a 2-ring induction hob and a kettle.
You will also receive tea bags, coffee and sugar. The fridge will be stocked with milk and orange juice, as well as a small selection of welcome treats waiting for you upon your arrival.
Towels and bedding are provided for your stay, along with 2 robes that will be hanging behind the door in the bathroom.
There is complimentary WiFi in the lodge too.
Important - Due to the nature of the location, the use of any BBQ equipment including disposable BBQ's on the balcony or anywhere in the area surrounding the lodges is not permitted.
Hot Tub / Outdoor Bath
The hot tubs and outdoor baths are thoroughly cleaned between visits. Please note the hot tub may not be fully heated for your first night.
Is the Forest Lodge dog-friendly?
Yes, the lodge is dog-friendly. You can bring up to 2 medium-sized dogs with a charge of £35 per dog (payable upon booking).
Dog beds and bowls can be provided if needed, please enquire when booking.
Dogs must be kept on a leash when in a public space.
Will Zip World Betws-y-Coed be open during my stay?
The site is open all year round except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However in the off-peak seasons, the site operates on selected days only so there could be a chance that the site will not be open during your stay.
