Talfryn Cottage sleeps up to 7 guests, making it a brilliant option for family holidays, group getaways or milestone celebrations. It’s bookable all year round, including weekends and school holidays.

The cottage makes an ideal base for discovering Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, with its dramatic landscapes, riverside walks and endless opportunities for fresh air adventures. Thrill-seekers are perfectly placed too, with Zip World Betws-y-Coed just a stone’s throw away. From treetop adventures and tobogganing to mountain biking and forest trails, there’s something nearby for every pace and age.

When it’s time to unwind, the cottage comes into its own. Curl up with a book, cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy a relaxed drink in your private garden as the sun dips behind the hills. Evenings are made for board games, shared stories and switching off from everyday life.

What is provided in the cottage?

This is a self-catering cottage with a fully equipped kitchen including kettle, toaster, microwave, electric hobs, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is also stocked with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and oven trays.

There is a smart TV in the downstairs living area.

There is complimentary WiFi in the cottage.

A highchair is provided in the property and is in the cupboard under the stairs. If you need a cot, one can be provided to you upon request before your check-in date.

Bedding and towels are provided.

A BBQ is not provided however you are welcome to bring your own portable BBQ to use outside. Disposable tray BBQ’s are not permitted. The BBQ ash must be disposed of properly. 

Bathrooms

There is a main bathroom upstairs and a smaller bathroom downstairs, both with showers.

Where do you collect the keys for the cottage?

Keys can be collected from a lockbox on the right-hand side of the cottage by the back door. The code for the lockbox will be provided for you through email before you check in.

Is the cottage dog-friendly?

Yes, the cottage is dog-friendly. You can bring up to 2 medium-sized dogs with a charge of £35 per dog (payable upon booking). 

Dogs must be kept on a leash when in a public space.

Will Zip World Betws-y-Coed be open during my stay?

The site is open all year round except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However in the off-peak seasons, the site operates on selected days only so there could be a chance that the site will not be open during your stay.

Where are the nearest shops to the cottages?

Your nearest shops can be found in Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed which are both a 5-minute drive from the cottage. There is a Co-op and Spar in Llanrwst, as well as a Spar and restaurants in Betws-y-Coed.
