During this shared 60 minute session, two young drivers will each enjoy 30 minutes of hands-on driving time, taking turns to experience what it’s really like to be in control of a car. Lessons take place in a dual-controlled automatic vehicle, such as a Suzuki Swift or a similar model, ensuring every moment behind the wheel is both exciting and completely safe. With a fully qualified, experienced driving instructor in the passenger seat, each participant will receive calm, 1:1 tuition tailored to their ability and confidence level.

This is a shared experience for 2 drivers, if you purchase a "For 1" voucher another driver will be in the car also.
This is a 60 minute experience, both drivers will have 30 minutes each behind the wheel. When your child is not driving, they will be observing from the rear passenger seat.
All cars are dual-controlled, so your children will be learning in complete safety.
Lessons are given on a 1:1 basis by experienced driving instructors.
Available throughout the year on selected weekend dates, and some weekdays during the school holidays - please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson to check in and get ready.
The first lesson generally starts at 9:30am, and the last lesson of the day is at 4:30pm.
Please note that all dates and time slots are subject to availability.
It is recommended to book in advance as lessons tend to get booked up quickly.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
When can I book?
This experience is available throughout the year on selected weekend dates, and some weekdays during the school holidays. Please note that all dates are subject to availability, and it is recommended to book in advance, as lessons tend to get booked up quickly.
What happens on the day?
You should arrive 15 minutes before your lesson and make your way to the Young Driver™ reception. A member of the team will get you checked in and let you know who your instructor will be. Your instructor will greet you a few minutes before your lesson time and ensure you are comfortable in the car.
Can I bring spectators?
All under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.You are welcome to bring more people, and they can watch the action from a viewing area.
Please note that the viewing areas are different at each venue, some are indoors, some are on a double decker bus, and some are outdoors so dressing appropriately for the weather is recommended.
When do I need to arrive?
You should arrive 15 minutes before your lesson time slot.
Are there toilets?
Toilets are available at each of the venues.
Are refreshments provided?
There is somewhere nearby the venues to grab a coffee, soft drink or snack.
What footwear is not allowed for this experience?
For safety reasons, drivers are not allowed to wear flatform/ platform trainers, flip flops, crocs, backless shoes, heelies, wellies, high heels, platforms or slippers.
Can special needs and disability requirements be accommodated?
Young Driver™ is the only under 17 driving school that has automatic and hand control cars available on every event day. This means that those with a broad range of physical disabilities from wheelchair users to amputees can take part at all venues.
There are also experienced driving instructors who can ensure all pupils with disabilities get the most out of their lessons, with a wide experience of working with young people with disabilities including autism, dyspraxia, ADHD, and anxiety.
