This charming countryside experience gives you two relaxing hours in a beautiful Kentish orchard, surrounded by friendly animals and peaceful rural scenery. Perfect for families, animal lovers and anyone who enjoys unique days out, it’s suitable for ages 4 and over, making it a lovely gift idea for both adults and children.
The highlight of your visit is the chance to walk one of the orchard’s tame micro pigs. During your 20-minute micro pig walk, you’ll gently walk with your piggy around the orchard while enjoying plenty of time to stop, stroke them and snap some adorable photos along the way.
Just like people, every pig has its own personality. Some may enjoy a relaxed wander, happily trotting beside you as you stroll through the orchard. Others might feel a little more energetic and pick up the pace. And sometimes, they simply decide it’s time for a snack, especially when there’s delicious windfall fruit to munch on in the summer. The pigs always set the pace, which makes every walk a little different and full of surprises.
Throughout your walk, you’ll be accompanied by an experienced pig handler who will be there to guide you, answer questions and make sure both you and your piggy have a safe and enjoyable experience.
As you explore the orchard, you’ll also have the chance to meet some of the other friendly residents. You’ll receive a bag of animal feed so you can treat the donkeys, alpacas, chickens and turkeys during your visit, adding even more hands-on fun to your day.
And after all that animal meeting and orchard exploring, it’s time for a well-earned break. Head over to the Mini Café, where you can enjoy a comforting cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Tea & Cakes: You can enjoy your tea and cakes in the Mini Café after your micro pig walk.
Included with this voucher is a bag of animal feed per booking to feed the donkeys, alpacas, chickens and turkeys.
What to wear
You must wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear for this experience (no flip flops, open toed sandals, ballet pumps or Crocs). Wellies are ideal if it’s been raining otherwise just a stout pair of shoes.
The orchard is not treated with chemicals so there are nettles and rabbit holes which may be hidden by foliage/flowers. You might prefer to have your legs covered.
This experience takes place outdoors and will go ahead even if raining.
In the event of torrential rain, the experience will be postponed.
Micro Pigs
You'll be meeting fully grown micro/mini pigs, which are about the size of a small dog. Please don't expect tiny piglets.
There can only be a maximum of 1 pig per person. In larger groups, the walks will be one after the other, with rest time in between for the pigs.
Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Time slots available are 10.30am and 1.30pm - subject to availability
Duration: 2 hours for the whole visit with 20 minutes for the micro pig walk.
Guests must arrive at the beginning of their booked 2 hour session.
Please note that your animal walk will take place at some point during your visit and not necessarily at the beginning of your booked slot.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
