Raise a glass to London's fascinating past on a guided walking tour through some of the capital's most atmospheric historic pubs and taverns. Over two hours, they'll follow a local expert through hidden corners of London, discovering centuries of stories, traditions and colourful characters along the way.
With five historic taverns to discover, this is much more than a trip to the pub. It's a chance to experience another side of London, from centuries-old drinking spots to grand interiors with stories hiding behind their walls. A brilliant experience gift for history buffs, London lovers and anyone who enjoys discovering somewhere new over a drink.
London's pubs have witnessed centuries of city life, and this tour brings some of those stories to life.
They'll leave the familiar tourist trail behind and follow their guide into atmospheric taverns, hidden courtyards and characterful streets. Along the way, they'll hear about London's drinking culture, historic events and some of the famous figures connected with these old establishments. Highlights include a tucked-away tavern with roots stretching back to the 16th century, an impressive former banking hall and Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, rebuilt following the Great Fire of London.
There's plenty to look at, plenty to talk about and, should they fancy one, plenty of opportunity to buy a pint along the way. There's no pressure to drink and guests can choose what, if anything, they'd like to order as they go.
For someone who would rather receive a great story than another thing to unwrap, it's a thoughtful way to give them a different perspective on London.
This is a walking tour which involves moderate walking over cobblestone streets.
Please note, drinks are not included with this voucher meaning you are welcome to purchase whatever drink you'd like at the pubs.
