The experience begins at Battersea Power Station, where the story of this iconic landmark is brought to life in brilliant, interactive style. You’ll wander through a recreation of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s office, peek behind the scenes at how the station was built, and follow the journey of coal as it once powered the city. There’s even a working model where you can quite literally get London moving again. Quiz fans will be in their element too, thanks to a touchscreen trivia table ready to test your knowledge and crown the household champion.
Then comes the moment everyone waits for: the ascent. The chimney lift glides up the northwest tower, taking you to the very top for a jaw-dropping 360-degree view of London. It’s the kind of view that makes you fall in love with the city all over again, spotting everything from the shimmer of the Thames to the silhouettes of its most famous landmarks. Cameras at the ready, this is a skyline you’ll want to remember.
Once you’re back at ground level, it's time to head over to the Clermont Charing Cross, where afternoon tea awaits in the hotel’s beautifully restored lounge. Enjoy classic finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and preserves, and a selection of handcrafted pastries that look almost too good to eat. Pair it with a pot of premium tea or go all out and toast the day with a glass of prosecco.

The Chimney Lift - Please allow approx 45-55 minutes. Includes the interactive multi-media exhibition and ascent of Battersea Power Station's north-west chimney.
Please allow around 1 hour for the afternoon tea.

Available Sunday – Friday.
Certain dates are excluded including Saturdays, half term breaks and bank holidays.
Time slots are every 15 minutes during the daily opening hours.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
