The Main Event

Setting off from Tenby Harbour, this 2.5-hour guided kayaking adventure explores some of the most beautiful and hard-to-reach parts of the Pembrokeshire Coast. Think hidden beaches you can only reach by water, dramatic sea caves, little islands, trickling waterfalls and plenty of chances to spot wildlife along the way.

The sit-on-top kayaks are lightweight, stable and super comfortable, making them ideal for beginners and confident paddlers alike. There’s even built-in storage for snacks, spare clothes and all the little essentials, plus a clever wheel for hauling the kayak up onto a secret beach. You can choose between single or double kayaks, making this a brilliant gift for couples, families or adventurous friends.

No experience is needed at all. Everything is guided from start to finish by expert kayak guide Tom, a 5-star-rated pro, knowledgeable coastal forager and keen naturalist. He knows these waters inside out and brings the coastline to life with fascinating insights as you paddle. All guides are fully equipped with top-of-the-range safety gear, including a state-of-the-art satellite beacon, so you can relax and enjoy the adventure.

With warm waterproof cags, buoyancy aids and helmets provided, this experience is suitable for ages 6 and up, making it a fantastic gift for birthdays, family surprises, or anyone who loves being outdoors.

Important to Note

What to bring

Sturdy footwear - trainers are fine - for walking on beach/exploring the rocks.
Clothing - shorts and t-shirts are fine with another layer if chilly. Depending on the time of year you may be offered a wetsuit or a waterproof jacket to wear.
Towel - Bring a towel or changing robe if you have one.
Bring a drink and snack if you want. There are dry bags to store these and any other belongings you wish to take. Valuables can be left safely at the HQ while you're out.

Weather
This experience will go ahead even when raining. Depending on the time of year you may be offered a wetsuit or a waterproof jacket to wear.
Sometimes strong winds from certain directions and unusually large swells can cause a session to be moved or postponed. If necessary, a more protected route will be chosen but if this is not possible, your session will be rescheduled.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age is 6 years old.
Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants must be reasonably fit with at least a basic swimming ability.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
