During this half-day course, they'll get hands-on experience with basic off-road techniques in a friendly, safe, and supportive environment. Kicking off with a welcome cuppa and a quick safety briefing, your gift recipient will then be guided through the course by an experienced instructor. After a short walk of the terrain to get a feel for what’s ahead, it’s time to jump into the vehicle, with an instructor by their side the whole way.
With two options available – a group session (with a maximum of 3 drivers per instructor) or a more personal 1:1 session – there’s a perfect fit for everyone. Whether they want to learn the ropes with a small group of like-minded adventurers or prefer the undivided attention of their instructor, they’ll get the training they need to conquer mild to moderate off-road conditions in no time.
By the end of this morning session, they’ll be equipped with the basic techniques and skills to handle some off-road obstacles, making them ready for anything nature throws at them. And let’s not forget – a delicious sandwich lunch will be served to refuel after a mornings off roading.

This is an outdoor activity and the site can become very muddy. Please wear sturdy footwear.
In cold weather, please wear warm, water-proof clothing; ideally over-trousers & a weather-proof coat. A light rain jacket & jeans will NOT be sufficient if it’s raining. In hot weather please bring a water bottle to take up onsite & we recommend the use of sun cream, if possible.
Your off-road experience involves walking each section with instructors who will point out obstacles & help plan the best route; all drivers must be able to walk around each of the sections & be able to operate a vehicle with normal controls & be capable of entering & leaving the vehicle unaided.
Group Sessions
There will be a maximum of 3 drivers per instructor.
1:1 session
There will be only 1 driver with the instructor.
The group sessions run Monday to Saturday.
The 1:1 sessions run Monday to Friday.
Half day courses will finish around 12:30pm.
Please arrive in good time for your booked session. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join in.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
