After a quick safety briefing, you’ll suit up and get to grips with the controls under the guidance of an expert instructor. Once you’ve mastered the clutch and experienced that surprisingly smooth power steering, it’s time to hit the off-road course. With its massive tyres and roaring diesel engine, the DAF 4-Tonner takes on mud, bumps and slopes like a true pro. You’ll soon see why this heavyweight is known for tackling the toughest terrain with ease.
Originally designed for the British Army, this multi-purpose monster was used in all sorts of roles, from troop transport to tank refuelling. The one you’ll drive is set up as a troop carrier, complete with army seating for 14 passengers. While you won’t have any troops in the back, you’ll definitely feel the thrill of commanding one of the most versatile off-road vehicles ever made.
